Kno: A "textbook" for university Dual Screen

Today during the eighth conference D: All Things Digital in Palos Verdes, California, Kno, Inc. launched a "digital textbook" as a learning platform designed for college students.

Basically it is a Tablet / e-Reader 16GB with two capacitive screens 14.1 inches (1440 x 900) running a Linux operating system on a Web-based Tegra processor 2. It offers full support of the browser, allowing students to consume digital media, like video or links to other web content without leaving the environment of the textbook. Kno is compatible with Flash content, HTML5, PDF and EPUB. The whole experience of the environment will be essentially WebKit and rumors suggest that his price was well below the USD $ 1,000.

Looks like a cross between what the booklet promised Courier Microsoft and IPAD "educational" (only bigger and with weight 5 times that of an IPAD) Chrome running something similar to OS without discriminating between standards or platforms.
